Happy Birthday Liz!!

Yesterday, July 25, was our very own Liz's birthday! She is now 22 years old. To celebrate, we went to the city to a Japanese restaurant called Kuni's for sushi! It was sooo good. I want more right now...
We had a lot of fun, and at the end, Liz got some mango ice cream with real fireworks on it for her b-day! So much better than candles- and you can't blow them out. They went out on their own after a few minutes.
Haha, such a classic Liz face. I tried the ice cream and it was tasty too.
Afterwards, as we walked to the train station, we found this dodgy alley!
Once we got back to the Claremont, we had our own little celebration with our personalized homemade cake! It was a microwave cake mix that only takes 6 minutes in the microwave. Then we mixed frosting powder with lemon juice to make a really tasty lemon icing. It was technically a bunt cake, since we put a glass in the middle of the batter so that it wouldn't be uncooked in the middle. Then we stuck 22 candles on the cake, spelled out Liz's name using Milo, and lit the candles! We had to bring it out to her and sing really fast because the candles started melting into the hot cake!! Haha, when we cut open the cake, Liz thought it was confetti cake due to the multi-color spots inside, however it was only wax from the candles.
Liz is showing off her cake. It was actually really good! Especially with our icing on it. It fed all 7 of us perfectly. After having cake, we went to a club down the street that was completely empty, so we had the whole place to ourselves! It was a lot of fun, as we danced to music and ended Liz's birthday with some groove!
